Stanley Livingston (Lou Costello) is just an average book salesman, who has an irrational fear of wild animals. To satisfy his lust for riches, he convinces Diana Emerson (Hillary Brooke) that he can find a long lost diamond mine in Africa. Diana falls for his tricks, as she brings him and his friend Buzz Johnson (Bud Abbott) with her and her henchmen to the unfamiliar land of Africa. In their attempts to locate the mine, they stumble upon the scariest wild animals, a group of cannibals, and a nearsighted gunman.
