The File on Thelma Jordan (1950)

After robbing and murdering her wealthy aunt, Thelma Jordon (Barbara Stanwyck) goes to the Assistant District Attorney Cleve Marshall (Wendell Corey) for help in catching the killer. Despite being married, Cleve falls in love with the beautiful Thelma, clouding his judgement. Thelma must now decide between the two men who have won her heart, one of them being the man who convinced her to go through with the whole robbery in the first place.

Trivia: This movie was so popular that a radio adaptation of the film was made starring Wendell Corey and Barbara Stanwyck.
