Trivia: Tuesday Weld was only 13 when this film was made, but she became a minor sex symbol in the 1960s and married actor Dudley Moore. She's mentioned in Donald Fagen's song, “The New Frontier”, on his solo album The Nightfly. The movie includes performances by Alan Freed, Chuck Berry, The Flamingos and The Moonglows.
