Brian Donlevy (Walter Williams) was nominated for Best Supporting actor Oscar for his role in 1939's Beau Geste. He lied about his age so he could join the army at the age of 14, and was later a pilot in World War I. Anna May Wong ( Su Lin Chung) was the first Asian American film star.
